We are opening our new studio in Wood Green Shopping mall after an amazing 5 years in Tottenham! The RecordShop is a Youth Organisation that provides FREE studio time for youths. What started off as a social action project, stands today as a company that places community at it’s heart. Come along to the Grand Opening at Wood Green shopping Mall! The RecordShop is a Multi-purpose Music Space that makes a difference. Founded in 2015, our mission is to make the music industry more accessible by providing opportunities for young and emerging artists to create, learn, and grow. Based inside The Mall, Wood Green, we have become a vibrant hub for collaboration, culture, and creativity. Through our free Studio Drop-In sessions, young people aged 11–25 can access professional studio time in 3-hour blocks every 10 weeks. Our Artist Accelerator Academy (AAA) supports emerging talent through workshops, recording sessions, and live performance opportunities. We also run The RecFest, a community music festival, and facilitate volunteering and work experience placements that help develop creative and professional skills. Our space also operates as a venue for hire, with a bar, merchandise, and record shop.
