The RecordShop is a Multi-purpose Music Space that makes a difference. Founded in 2015, our mission is to make the music industry more accessible by providing opportunities for young and emerging artists to create, learn, and grow.

Based inside The Mall, Wood Green, The RecShop has become a vibrant hub for collaboration, culture, and creativity. Through our free Studio Drop-In sessions, young people aged 11–25 can access professional studio time in 3-hour blocks every 10 weeks. Our Artist Accelerator Academy (AAA) supports emerging talent through workshops, recording sessions, and live performance opportunities.

We also run The RecFest, our annual community music festival, and facilitate volunteering and work experience placements that help develop creative and professional skills.

Alongside our community programmes, The RecordShop also provides professional recording studio hire for customers who wish to book studio time. Our online booking system allows customers to view available recording sessions, make bookings, and securely manage their account details online.
