We invited young people aged 14-25 to come along, they were able to learn about how they can face their fears and grace the stage more confidently.
Here are some words from those who took part today:
Lillian (young artist, enjoys music at school) – Today’s Boost your Stage Presence Workshop was hard work and I got do a lot. I was able to finalise 2 verses and a chorus from my own song and record it.
Maria (weekly volunteer Youth Worker) – Today, it felt very motivating to work with Lillian, a talented and promising young artist who is now on his second workshop with me.

The RecordShop is a Multi-purpose Music Space that makes a difference. Founded in 2015, our mission is to make the music industry more accessible by providing opportunities for young and emerging artists to create, learn, and grow.
Based inside The Mall, Wood Green, we have become a vibrant hub for collaboration, culture, and creativity. Through our free Studio Drop-In sessions, young people aged 11–25 can access professional studio time in 3-hour blocks every 10 weeks. Our Artist Accelerator Academy (AAA) supports emerging talent through workshops, recording sessions, and live performance opportunities.
We also run The RecFest, a community music festival, and facilitate volunteering and work experience placements that help develop creative and professional skills. Our space also operates as a venue for hire, with a bar, merchandise, and record shop.
