We’re The RecShop — a Multi-purpose Music Space with community at its core. Founded in 2015, our mission is to make the music industry more accessible by providing opportunities for young and emerging artists to create, learn, and grow.

Based inside The Mall, Wood Green, The RecShop has become a vibrant hub for collaboration, culture, and creativity. Through our free Studio Drop-In sessions, young people aged 11–25 can access professional studio time in 3-hour blocks every 10 weeks. Our Artist Accelerator Academy (AAA) supports emerging talent through workshops, recording sessions, and live performance opportunities.

We also run The RecFest, our annual community music festival, and facilitate volunteering and work experience placements that help develop creative and professional skills. Our space doubles as a venue for hire, complete with a bar, merchandise, and vinyl shop — reinvesting back into our community projects.
